Re:Plug-In - 2007/02/23 13:13
the plug in is a normal mambot
use the normal mambot install routine
Install
After you install this plugin, you will need to set the Google API Key inside the plugin and publish the plugin. You may get the API key by clicking here.
USAGE:{mosgmap mapid=?} Additional map properties can be set via the adminstration panels of GMaps

Thanks for fast answer - and it works. Well done ! First view looks great.
Will prevent you for further questions if you rename:
plugin_gmaps to bot_plugin_gmaps

Kurt
Could you tell me how to put the API key into the mambot
I'm missing something here as I cant see how you modify a mambot like you would do a module or component
I'm just getting blank maps with the slider etc - My web site uses google maps extensively (API in a wrapper using XML data)but I'd like to have a database driven companent that works. I have 80 member sites and I need to show them in state, metro and street level context and I cover the whole east coast of Australia

Paul, I finally found your post. To set the API key for the mambot, go into the backend admin site. Select 'Mambots / Site Mambots' from the menus. Locate GMaps from the list and select it. You should find the entry place for the key on the next screen.
