Hi Chris,

I am lost in Gmaps PRO version numbers.
Last time i came here to dl it, a 1.1.1 version was available. Now the latest one i can find is 1.0.2 RC2.
Where do we stand?

There is GMaps and GMapsPRO. GMaps is currently at 1.2.4 and PRO is at 1.0RC2. They are two seperate products. I am not sure what 1.0.2 RC2 came from.

I am using GMapsPro 1.0 RC2 (on Joomla 1.5.2).

When I try to install the 1.0 Beta (via Extrensions/ Install pointing to com_gmapspro-1.0-beta.zip file) it says that the directory already exists and fails.

When I go back into the GMapsPro - it says my version is still 1.0 RC2.

What am I doing wrong?

Please email me on this so I can help you out. I haven't tested under 1.5.2 yet.

the problem was he didn't uninstall the extension first.
