First of all HI! 
the component is wonderful and I want to ask something I couldn't find here answered: I want to build a business guide, I created a map for my town and I created all the categories that those stores (for examples) would be listed. How can I make appear for example: Internet Cafes only on that map, or show by clicking of a list, Hospitals, or Coffee shops?
I mean, can I create a map, and add all those categories I did, and then let my visitors be able to click on the category Coffee shops, to display ONLY those?

It does not support this. You would have to write the code. However, the mapping library I'm working on will/does support this. It is non-Joomla dependent as I want to be able to do generate maps outside of Joomla. It is not GA.
