USS Yorktown CV10 Association - 2007/03/21 10:52
http://ussyorktown.net/main/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=26

The map at this site will be used to log the city/state locations of members of this association. We'll eventually add a custom icon for the ship itself.

The USS Yorktown has a long and admirable naval history. Yorktown (CV-10) earned 11 battle stars and the Presidential Unit Citation during World War II and five battle stars for Vietnam service.

The association consists of the men who served from her decks, and members of their families. The ussyorktown.net site is currently a demo site being considered for use as the official site of the association's board of directors.

I came, I saw, I installed. Eventually I'll stop asking all these questions!

Did you use a static content page and then the mosimage function to place your map where it is?

Just curious on how to do it...I want a map to display upon clicking on the link.

This looks like they've created a GMaps map, set showindex to Y, set the format of the index to horizontal (I believe that is indexformat=1) and used the GMaps mambot to render the map.
