The map index  when rendered either with a mambot or the front-end, creates a list of hyperlinks that are intended to open the specific marker on the map.  That is its default nature.  however, a user has reported an indicident in which the hyperlinks generated in the index are re-written to open a new window when clicked.  When this occurs, the link fails.

After doing some research, the code being written (as shown by the browsers view source command) is different then what the Gmaps code will generate.  An additional TARGET= "_blank" is being added to the link.  As it turns out, there are exsiting mambot extensions for joomla that create this problem with the one users installation.

If you do have any mambots installed on your site that alter hyperlinks, please turn them off.
